This isn’t just another Christian women’s retreat.

ROOTED was created for women who want more than a weekend of sitting in sessions, taking notes, and going home inspired for a few days. This is an intimate Christian women’s retreat where faith, personal growth, sisterhood, rest, and joy all have a place.

For four days in Charlotte, we’re stepping away from our normal routines and creating room to slow down, connect with God, have meaningful conversations, meet other women, laugh, explore, and enjoy being present. There will be teaching. There will be prayer. There will be honest conversation.

But there will also be good food, music, games, new experiences, late-night conversations, and the kind of laughter that happens when a group of women finally gets comfortable enough to just be themselves. Because being rooted isn’t only about what happens during a workshop.

It’s about what we build our lives on.

2027 Retreat Theme: ROOTED

Last year, we gathered in Washington, DC for RESTORE, our first annual EmpowerHer SisterCircle Retreat. This year, we’re going deeper.

ROOTED is centered on building a life firmly grounded in Christ, knowing who you are in Him, and examining what has been influencing the way you think, believe, respond, and grow.

A tree can only sustain what its roots can support. So before focusing on what’s next, we’re making room to pay attention to what’s underneath. Throughout the weekend, our conversations and experiences will center on faith, identity, spiritual growth, emotional wellness, and what it means to develop roots strong enough to support healthy growth in every season.

Intentional Workshops

Two interactive workshops will create space to go beyond surface-level conversation. We’ll explore topics connected to the ROOTED theme with opportunities for reflection, discussion, practical application, and personal growth. These are not lectures. Come ready to participate, think, talk, write, and take something meaningful back home with you.

Prayer & Worship

Prayer has always been part of the foundation of EmpowerHer SisterCircle.

Throughout the retreat, there will be intentional opportunities to pray, worship, reflect, and spend time with God individually and alongside other women.

No pressure to perform. No expectation to have the right words.

Just room to be present.

Sisterhood & Fellowship

Some conversations need more than a group chat.

ROOTED brings women together in the same room to eat together, learn together, pray together, explore Charlotte, and actually get to know one another.

Whether you arrive with someone you know or come by yourself, there will be plenty of opportunities to connect naturally throughout the weekend.

One of the things we’re making room for is simple: fun.

Sisterhood Night is our time for karaoke, games, movies, music, fellowship, and whatever else the night brings.

No workshop agenda. No formal program.

Just women enjoying each other.

Curated Meals

Some of the best conversations happen around a table. Meals are intentionally built into the retreat experience so we can slow down, eat together, talk, laugh, and continue building relationships outside of scheduled activities. Select meals throughout the weekend are included with registration.

Time to Rest

Every hour of the weekend does not need to be scheduled.

There will be space to rest, journal, talk with your roommate, enjoy a quiet morning, or simply have a moment to yourself.

ROOTED is designed to give you an experience, not exhaust you trying to keep up with one.

Charlotte Experiences

We’re not traveling to Charlotte just to stay inside.

The weekend will include opportunities to enjoy the city and experience something different together as part of our retreat weekend.

Regular Registration: $850

Available through October 31, 2026. Register during Early Bird and save $100 on the regular retreat price.

You do not have to pay for the entire retreat at once. A $150 deposit secures your Early Bird registration, and payment plans are available to spread the remaining balance over the coming months. KLARNA payment options available. Final payment is due March 15, 2027.

Early Bird Bonus

The first five women to register for Early Bird Registration will also receive an additional retreat gift.

Early Bird pricing ends October 31 or until supply lasts. After that date, the regular retreat investment will be $850.

Who is ROOTED retreat for?

ROOTED is for women who want a Christian-centered retreat experience that makes room for both spiritual and personal growth. You do not have to be in a particular place in your faith journey to attend. The women who gather with EmpowerHer come from different backgrounds, churches, life experiences, and seasons. What connects us is a desire to grow in our relationship with God and experience genuine community with other women.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely. You do not need to bring a friend or already know someone in the SisterCircle. The retreat is intentionally structured with shared meals, activities, workshops, and downtime that give women opportunities to connect throughout the weekend.

What does my registration cover?

Your registration covers the retreat experiences listed above, accommodations, select meals, retreat materials, welcome bag and included group activities. Travel to and from Charlotte is not included.

What is the investment? Are payment plans available?

Yes. A $150 deposit secures Early Bird registration, and the remaining balance can be paid through the available payment plan. Regular registration starts 11/1/26 for $250. Total cost for those who register Early Bird is $750 ($100 discount). Total cost for Regular Registration is $850. Klarna Payment Plans available. All retreat balances must be paid in full by March 15, 2027.

Where will we be staying? What airport do I fly into?

The retreat will take place in Charlotte, North Carolina. Registered attendees will receive lodging details and other important travel information before the retreat. If you will be traveling to Charlotte, NC via airplane, the nearest airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT).
